Quiet post

Raindrops

A great find at the thrift store for two bucks in excellent condition.

"Raindrops keep falling on my head
But that doesn't mean my eyes will soon be turning red
Crying's not for me
Cause I ain't gonna stop the rain by complaining"

Full moon

Before we could look out and watch the moon as it came up. Now the hill is built up with houses, huge houses. So now we patiently wait for the glow. These pictures were taken from our back porch as a hot wind blew around.

Rainy day pasta

Twelve farm-fresh eggs cracked and beaten into a well of flour.

The dough is kneaded until soft and smooth.

Roll out dough using a pasta machine; let dough dry on a floured tablecloth.

While the dough is drying, enjoy an espresso.

Using the pasta machine, cut the sheets of dough into fettuccine.
With a sauce of garlic and parsley, dinner is served.

Power

"When you can make something, you have a certain power. It means you can always survive by the labour of your own hands. Don't forget that."
