SoBo Biscuits

I love making biscuits so whenever I see a new recipe I have to try it; I don't collect them quite as madly as I do pancake recipes but a good biscuit recipe is a good thing to have. This one is from The SoBo Cookbook-recipes from the Tofino Restaurant at the end of the Canadian road. It only makes 8 biscuits which is good because you can't just eat one of these, they are really good!

Tucci and Brown Sugar

We've always loved Stanley Tucci but who new he was such a great cook. Mr. Cowboy made Tucci's Vegetable Parmigiana for dinner; amazing!

And for dessert I chose to make Peach Cobbler from Tanya Holland's Brown Sugar Kitchen. Not too sweet with a very buttery and creamy topping; this is a winner!

Lavender socks

There is nothing to compare to the feel on your toes of handmade socks.

The colour of the Merino Wool reminds me of 'Croxton's Wild' English Lavender.

Soft and warm and they fit perfectly. Whenever I wear these one-of-a-kind pair of socks, I will think of the dear friend that took the time to make them for me.
