I was lucky to find an April Cornell brown cotton throw which I used for the base of the quilt.
For the sashing I used brown cotton twill tape and the whole quilt was stitched with variegated brown cotton thread. The corners were mitered and the edges were double stitched.

If you want copies of the Japanese magazine, just google Kinokuniya. They will help you set up getting them through the mail. Warning that it's super expensive though. I'll keep doing reviews of the issues in case you want to try and pick up only the really good ones on ebay. Best wishes!
