Barefoot Contessa winner

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving dinner at the home of a dear friend. To show our appreciation for all her hard work, I made an Apple Crostata, a recipe from the Barefoot Contessa Parties cookbook. It is the best I have ever had. The crust is all unsalted butter, superfine sugar and flour. The apples are cut into chunks and the topping is full of cinnamon and allspice. A great ending to a great meal.
