Pearly green

Finally found the perfect compact for my purse at the Antiques and Collectibles Sale. The cover is mother-of-pearl and after a good cleaning and the addition of a picture in place of the rubbish powder, it is a real gem.

Loads of green tomatoes at the Market this morning so of course I had to make fried green tomatoes. Summer on a plate!
