Asparagus umbrellas





This is the last of the Keremeos asparagus so of course we had to have risotto. Mr. Cowboy makes it al dente with a good glug of white wine and this time he even added red pepper flakes.



It's always an adventure going across the border to Prince's which is now called Atkins but is pretty much the same as it always has been. I always head straight over to the fabric section; this time they were having a 30% off sale on any flower fabric. I happen to love umbrellas and I did not mind paying full price.
