Not too many Saturday market days left so we try to go every Saturday. This weekend I bought a basket of peaches from my favourite vendor from Keremeos. I was going to make peach dumplings which were a hit last year, but this time I decided to try a new recipe from Martha - peach and cornmeal upside-down cake made in my cast iron skillet. We love anything made with cornmeal and this is a keeper.

I've been drooling over your last few posts! I can't believe you waited until I was gone before making the onion tart, Valodya's in trouble. And how come I didn't know you guys are growing two of my favourite things in life: cantaloupe and celery!!
