Treat for dinner

The asparagus that we enjoyed today was grown about 40 miles from where we live. The free-range eggs were local and the greatest bread ever was, of course, made by my Mom. The simplest meals are really the best, and after a day of gardening, this was such a nice treat. The only drawback - we have to wait for next Saturday's Farmer's Market to get more of the delectable spears.
