I wake up and Blogger has changed everything. So it took me awhile to put this together. The pictures are in the wrong order but it doesn't change the fact that we had a great breakfast, just like you would have on the Island of Mallorca. These sweet pastries are called ensaimadas, and they are a bit of work, but are a very nice change to the normal breakfast we have here. I first saw them being made on the Batali-Paltrow tour of Spain. I made these without the filling but am going to research the recipe for the next batch. Strong coffee and a few of these; I think we better go for a walk.
