It took me two hours this evening to make a thank you card for work. I rough cut two pieces of fabric, stitched them together, and then embroidered a heart flower in the center. I cross-stitched all along the sides, sewed on some buttons, and wrote thank you on a fabric label. The fabric was then machine stitched onto a huge paper card.It only took me a few minutes to wrap two pairs of warm flannel pajamas, decorate the gifts with lots of ribbons and bows, and donate them to the Women's Shelter.
